Refund Policy

28.5 Basketball LLC is committed to providing high-quality programming while ensuring fairness to participants, coaches, staff, facilities, and partners. Because program planning and facility costs are incurred in advance, the following refund policy applies unless otherwise stated for a specific event.

Participant Cancellations:

​

48+ Hours Before Scheduled Event:

Participants who cancel at least forty-eight (48) hours before the start of a scheduled session, event, clinic, or program are eligible for a full refund of the registration fee paid.

 

Between 24 and 48 Hours Before Scheduled Event:

Participants who cancel between twenty-four (24) and forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a fifty percent (50%) refund.

 

Less Than 24 Hours Before Scheduled Event:

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled event or program.

Emergency Exceptions:

28.5 understands that emergencies occur. Requests for exceptions due to illness, injury, family emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of 28.5.

No-Shows:

Participants who fail to attend without providing notice are considered no-shows and are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.

 

Event Cancellations by 28.5 Basketball:

If 28.5 cancels an event, session, or program due to facility issues, insufficient registration, weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances within our control, participants may receive one of the following:

• A full refund

• Event credit

• Transfer to a future session

The appropriate remedy will be determined by 28.5 based on the circumstances.

 

Weather and Facility Issues

Outdoor activities may be affected by weather conditions. Facility closures, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control may result in cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling. Participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
